I think it’s safe to say I’ve been putting my annual pass to good use this year. More than last year, anyway.

When my annual pass unblocked itself, I was able to go to Disneyland yesterday (August 20). The crowds were decent and expected of the time since school started for most kids/teens plus the summer schedule was still in full swing. My sister and I decided to do cruise mode for most of the day, hopping on a few rides and browsing through stores. We were going to watch a 2 o’ clock showing of “Mickey and the Magic Map,” but we waited in a crowd of people at the theater’s entrance under the sun for fifteen minutes before they told us the show’s been canceled. That, however, did not annoy me. (Probably because I’m local and I’ve seen it happen. Who knows what the details were.)
Also, I finally got to see the Mad T Party show. I really like the setup and the atmosphere. Although some of the band members were switched, they’re really good and they rock! (/bricked) They’re fun, I like that. At one point, they played “Raise Your Glass” and I had no glass, just sunglasses. THAT COUNTS. Hatter approved. Dormouse reminded me of David Bowie and he’s awesome with that guitar.
I also like the twins and the deck of cards and we could have stayed during the white rabbit DJing but we had to eat. We didn’t stay for the next shows, either, but I’m happy we got to see this one.
Guys it’s not even Taco Thursday why are you reblogging— oh, nevermind.
Gotta sleep now. Spent all day at the Tanabata Festival in J-Town selling manju.
Although it came in on Thursday, I do have my laptop back now! HUZZAH.
TIME TO SEE IF I CAN STILL DRAW.
The Day in which Disneyland rides broke down in our presence.
We probably just broke the system of going on a Monday instead of a Tuesday that day, but YEAH this actually happened. Right when we were going home.
Spoilers: the other half is Filipino.
So surrendering my laptop for a week’s worth of service suddenly turned into four to six weeks because in-store repairs are not applicable. I’ve already been waiting for two, three weeks.
I don’t know when exactly they shipped it out and I’m just hoping it comes back soon! But. Yeah. Still waiting.
09.21.12 - Out of luck, we saw the Endeavour fly over JPL in Pasadena. This was the view from Monterey Park.
Yes, I’m aware that the shuttle looks like a fuzzy blob. You try taking a picture of a historical moment when your parents are telling you to hurry up and take the darn thing.
So moments earlier I saw some plurks from all the SoCal peeps I know saying that an earthquake abounded.
But I felt nothing. Which is weird because I should have felt something…? Huh. :|a
